“Start children off on the way they should go,
and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
Teaching children God’s laws, including those that explain how to get along with others and to respect authority, is critical to children becoming well-adjusted, successful adults. The youth are our future. From the youngest children who are just being welcomed into our community, to the teens who are getting ready for their journey into adulthood, we value what each young member brings to parish life and we want to enrich their experience within Christ’s family at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is for children entering K through completing grade 5 and is being modified this year because of the COVID-19 virus. It will be on five Tuesdays starting July 21 either mornings or evening. Families will pick their preference. This year it will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. All children are welcome.
Cost is $25 per child. Registration deadline extended to July 10. Cost includes t-shirt, CD, activities, and snacks.
Extra precautions are being taken for the health and safety of our families. We are offering a “modified” version of Vacation Bible School this year. Families will schedule a time to pick up a goodie bag with snacks, a craft, and information for our weekly theme. Families will be invited to participate in some super fun, family-friendly, socially-distanced activities outside in the parish parking lot. We will also be offering a few interactive activities online to help support the theme throughout the week. While this isn’t the traditional Vacation Bible School experience, we are excited to try out some new ideas while teaching our children about our faith this summer.
Families will be asked to “Schedule Your Visit” for the morning or evening. Once we know how many families would like to stop by during each time frame, we will coordinate specific drop-in times for each family.
The registration form is below. Please print, complete, and send it to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 2771 Oakwood Dr., Green Bay, WI 54304, by June 19.
Our youth ministries provide meaningful opportunities for youth to connect with other young people, grow in their faith, and develop their personal relationships with Jesus Christ in a fun and belonging environment. There are a variety of ways you and/or your young family members can become involved with other youth in or through our parish on their journey of discipleship. “Let the little children come to me,
and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
