We will be collecting “leftover” school supplies for our friends in Neopit to use now and throughout the summer.
If you have “leftover” school supplies and know you are a household who will be purchasing mostly new school supplies for the new school year, wouldn’t it be a great lesson for our children to consider the implications of donating these school supplies? Not only are we able to share with those who need our support, but it’s good environmental stewardship!
▪ Backpacks still in good condition
▪ Glue bottles or glue sticks still half full
▪ Notebooks with pages left to use
▪ Scissors
▪ Erasers
▪ Storage boxes & pencil cases
▪ Binders
▪ Pens
▪ Pencils
▪ Highlighters
▪ Markers
▪ Crayons
Often these supplies are thrown out at school by the students themselves who don’t recognize the value of items. Talk with your children and make them aware of this opportunity to help our neighbors!
There will be a collection box in the hospitality area of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish starting May 28 as well as at the Ministry Fair on June 4 and 5. We also welcome help in sorting through the materials. Thanks for your support!
