The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church

Earlier this year our Holy Father, Pope Francis decreed that a new obligatory Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, be added to the General Roman Calendar of the Catholic Church for the Monday following Pentecost Sunday. This new celebration provides us a wonderful opportunity to reflect upon the Blessed Mother’s role within the life of the Church. Memorial Day Mass

Join us for Mass at 9:00 a.m. on Memorial Day. Remember those who died while serving in our country's armed forces. They paid the ultimate price. Bishop Robert Morneau will be our celebrant. The National Moment of Remembrance, established by Congress, encourages all Americans to pause wherever they are at 3 p.m. local time on Memorial Day for a minute of silence to remember and honor those who have died in service to the nation.

Polka Mass and Picnic

We're celebrating 40 years with a Polka Mass from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Picnic Lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Weather permitting, we'll be outside. Please bring your lawn chairs. Maroszek Brothers: New Generation Polka Band will be with us to celebrate Mass and play afterwards at our picnic until 1:00 p.m. The Knights of Columbus have graciously offered to provide the picnic lunch. The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Mass
