St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Parish
Growing as Disciples and Growing Disciples in Green Bay, Wisconsin
Our Mission Trip with Young Neighbors in Action is June 26 through July 2 in Antigo, Wisconsin. It will be a week of participating in mission, growing in faith, joining in prayer and serving those in need. This service-learning experience is for high school students. The theme this year is Amos 5:24 – “Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.”
Youth are provided a solid, Catholic approach to service and justice that balances Scripture and Catholic social teaching, direct service, and justice consciousness. It provides the experiences, skills, and learning needed to make change possible.
We’ll be staying at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. All participants (including adults) sleep in classrooms with 10-15 participants sharing sleeping space on a carpeted or uncarpeted floor. Participants are advised to bring SINGLE-size air mattresses or foam pads for more comfortable sleeping, as well as pillows, linens/sleeping bags and towels for personal use.
