St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Parish
Growing as Disciples and Growing Disciples in Green Bay, Wisconsin
Cooking can be meditative. There’s the ritual of preparation and hopefully the joy of others delighting in what has been prepared for them. We all have to eat by feeding our body. We also benefit by taking care of and feeding our soul. For those of you who don’t like to cook, you might find inspiration in this presentation. For those who skip feeding your soul, maybe this presentation will persuade you that feeding your soul is just as important, if not more, than feeding your body.
All are welcome to join us. No need to RSVP. Free presentation.
Our speaker is Fr. James Neilson, O.Praem., professor of art at St. Norbert College. He served on the faculty at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago, and has studied art at The School of the Art Institute in Chicago, Notre Dame University, and The Vermont Studio Center where he earned an MFA in three-dimensional mixed media sculpture. Fr. Neilson lectures across the country on topics related to art and spirituality.
