Grief Group – 6 Sessions

Losing a loved one through death can be very devastating. Many of us can never be completely prepared. Such losses can be accompanied by many confusing and mixed emotions. For many people, a grief group can be a helpful experience. It is an opportunity to gather with others who have experienced a similar loss. This type of group can help participants better understand the grief process, offer an opportunity to share feelings, ideas, personal experiences, and gain insight and direction for help and healing.

Dates are October 12, October 19, October 26, November 2, November 9, and November 16.

The facilitator is Stephanie Hubbard. Stephanie’s graduate studies include drug, alcohol and substance abuse prevention, death and dying, grief, loss and related topics. She has hospital experience in medical, emergency and trauma departments. She is a parish member at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, and is a former teacher at Holy Family School.
