Concert for Ukraine
Thank you to all who came out to support the Concert for Ukraine on June 27. Three of Green Bay community’s bands and a church choir generously joined forces to provide an evening of entertainment to raise funds for relief for Ukrainian refugees. Entertainment consisted of the following.
- “7000apart” (7000apart.com) is a husband-wife pop duo, composed of high school sweethearts hailing from Green Bay and Stockholm, Sweden. Their debut album has streamed over 130,000 times on Spotify and the couple has performed throughout the Midwest and Sweden.
- “Speako Chords” (www.facebook.com/speakochordsacoustic) plays a variety of music, including pop, classic rock, bluegrass, and folk. The two-person band utilizes violin, guitar, and vocal talents.
- “KN ZAVOR” (https://www.facebook.com/GrupoMusicalConSabor) is an eight-piece band specializing in Latin music of all stripes. From cumbia and timbal to salsa and polka, the band brings the upbeat relaxation of a Cabo vacation to northeast Wisconsin for every audience to enjoy.
- The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Choir, (a ministry of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, https://www.facebook.com/SEASGB), consists of approximately 50 men and women of one of the area’s larger congregations. Its repertoire ranges from Renaissance motets to gospel to modern choral works. Check out their virtual performances during the peak of the pandemic at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Choir Videos.
If you’d like to make a donation, scan the below QR Code or mail a check to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish with the notation “Concert for Ukraine” in the memo, to 2771 Oakwood Drive, Green Bay, WI 54304. Please continue to pray for the Ukrainian people and ask for God’s intervention in this senseless war levied against them by Russia.
